Digital Wellbeing
In the digital age, people are expected to take care of their digitial representations as an extension of their identity. They do so in their everyday use of technology, intentionally or in more mundane ways. When mundane necessities such as maintaining and fixing smart technology arise, people can find themselves in situations where they do not understand options, outcomes, or how to get from options to outcomes. This situation is particularly dramatic when dealing with issues of privacy and security.
By researching the idea of Digital Wellbeing, we aim to address and empower the mundane security and privacy practices of users.
